The entire tour was outstanding! Glen is passionate about the area and the history that made it what it is today. We were able to customize and see a few specific things on our must see list. Great all the way around, highly recommend!

My friend and I were recovering from surgery and wanted a tour tailored to us and our interests. We did not want to have to hop on and off a bus with 30 other people and wanted to talk one-on-one with the tour guide with our questions so Glen's tour was perfect. It was so nice to get into his van in the June heat and have him escort us around town in his air-conditioned, very comfortable vehicle. He gives you a tour of the whole town, not just the French Quarter. We also enjoyed the places he chose for lunch - the food was excellent. He is so caring that he brought my friend a deluxe walker to use since he could tell she needed more than her cane. We took both the city tour and the plantation tour. Laura Plantation helped me learn about the Creole culture and Oak Alley was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great tour!! 6 of us traveling together had an amazing tour! Glen was knowledgeable and gave us a top notch tour of his city in New Orleans. History comes alive and the overview of the city was perfect! Recommend doing this early in your stay - he also had great recommendations for other activities. Lunch on the lake was excellent and he showed us SO much more than the French Quarter! Transportation was very comfortable! Highly recommended! Thanks Glen!

Glen gave the 4 of us a private tour of New Orleans. The full size van was spacious and immaculate. We visited many historical home and celebrity homes as well as each distinctive district. Glen had a great story for each area. He knew every historical detail. We even got to see the lake. Glen explained in the Katrina disaster and steps taken to prevent another. I have been to NO 2x before, this time I learned much more that both prior trips!

It was perfect from beginning to end. Glen met us at our hotel on time. His knowledge of New Orleans and the surrounding area was very impressive to say the least. His lunch location was a neat local deli which tourists would not know to visit. The food was great and being able to chat with Glen was a great way to learn even more about New Orleans. He was able to accommodate people in our group with mobility issues by storing our walker and providing a step stool for ease of getting in and out of his van. A top notch way to tour New Orleans. Glen was great!! Weeks before we arrived. We made arrangements with Glen to take us on a tour. Not only did he take us on a tour, but he gave us so many different recommendations of places to go other tours to take. He was so helpful!
There was a scheduling issue and although we were originally scheduled for an eight hour tour, Glen was able to schedule us for a different day for a four hour tour and we learned so much! What a wonderful city. We were there during Mardi Gras, hopefully we will come back another time when the city isn’t as busy so we can explore a little more.

Henley's Private Tours is excellent. Glenn provided us with a comprehensive, educational, and entertaining trip that really immersed us in the New Orleans experienced. Glenn has incredible knowledge, but also an easy going way of involving his guests. I learned so much, while enjoying friendly conversation the whole time. Our tour took us to see the parts of the city we would never have found on our own, and gave us a great overview of where to visit for the rest of our trip.

Glen let us know that he would not be able to tour with us but assured that John would be able to just as good a job. As Mardi Gras all around the French Quarter, we were happy to see all of New Orleans, its surrounding neighborhoods, plantations and more! He was an encyclopedia of New Orleans history and folklore and any and every question we asked, was answered in depth. We stopped at a local cemetery which to our surprise was really quite interesting. He molded the tour to accommodate anything that we wanted to see given the road closures due to parades. His car was immaculate and he cautiously drove. The only caveat was the price. It’s costly! Entree fees to any special activity or exhibit are NOT included. That aside, it was an outstanding way to see the other side of the Mardi Gras capital!

Glen is an excellent historian and provided the history of New Orleans in an engaging and entertaining manner. His normal tour had to be altered due to an event happening in the city which closed down the French quarter. He reversed his tour so that important part of the city would not be missed! He was extremely accommodating for our group of 9 and I would highly him for your private tour of New Orleans! He is truly the best and is a good soul!

We just took a tour with Glen yesterday and let me tell you, it was a highly enjoyable and educational experience. There were 5 of us including two kids and all of us were highly entertained during the tour. Glen was prompt in picking us up in his amazingly comfy van at our hotel and we got an incredible overview of this beautiful city. He is so knowledgeable about the history, culture, food, and people and he delivers that information in a way that is easy to understand and fascinating to learn about! Glenn is a true storyteller! My two kids (7 and 10) were captivated and even appreciated all the new “dad jokes” they learned from him throughout the day! :-)

We visited such a wide variety of locations, all with amazing views and might I add Glen is excellent at taking pictures of your family for you!

I truly felt by the end of our tour we got a real taste of New Orleans! I highly recommend Glenn’s tour. It’s personal, fun, and tailored to the needs and people of your group. He is a wonderful tour guide (and person) and you can really see his love and pride for his city and state shine through!

Our family of 6 had an awesome time with Mr. Glenn from Henley's tours. From the booking to his follow up thanks after the tour was completed, he was so gracious, professional, pleasant and easy to work with. The vehicle eas clean and comfortable. His tour was a spectacular overview of the entire city of NOLA. He gave an interesting background and history lesson that made the past come alive and he showed us neat things all over the city. We literally saw it all in 5 hours...from the WWII Museum (including background on how NOLA became the host of such a prominent museum), Garden District, Mansions, Port, Central Business District, French Quarter, Universities, City Park, Lake Pontchartrain, inside a beautiful cemetery, pumping stations and explanations about Hurricane Katrina and aftermath, the marina. Carrollton, to a delicious lunch spot and bringing bread for us to feed the birds in City Park and more. Everything was top notch. He gave interesting and easy to understand talks about Cajuns and Creoles and local culture. We spent a full week enjoying all that New Orleans and the surrounding area has to offer and our entire family including our children ages 11 to 20, said our tour with Mr. Glenn was a top favorite. We tried carriage tours, steamboat tours, swamp boat tours, Gondola rides and segway tours and this private tour was the best, hands down. Glen interacts well with the entire family, has fun stories, thinks of unique ways to bring history to life and is such a pleasant and wonderful human being, he is truly a delight to be around. We highly recommend this tour, for all that you get, it's a bargain and I know you won't be disappointed!

This private tour was perfect for our group. We appreciated Glen’s well thought out itinerary and knowledge of New Orleans. This was a perfect way to see so much of New Orleans in just a few hours.
